This notice is to inform you that on the first E-fix after January 7, 2017, older versions of SuiteAnalytics Connect drivers will be deprecated. In sandbox accounts, the older driver versions will stop working on December 14, 2016.

To avoid a service outage, NetSuite strongly recommends that you upgrade to Windows ODBC driver version 7.20.54 or JDBC/ADO.NET/Linux driver version 7.20.50 before these dates and use them as described below.

Note that if you use the JDBC driver, you must also update your Java environment to Java SE 7 or later. If you do not, you will not be able to connect even with the latest driver version.

Timing of SuiteAnalytics Connect Driver Update

Upgrade timing depends on the version of the SuiteAnalytics Connect driver that you are currently using. To find your current driver version, open the Windows Control Panel and browse to Programs > Programs and Features. Find your driver in the list and check its version in the Version column.

    NetSuite ODBC Driver 6.0

Suite Analytics Connect driver versions 7.20.10 and 7.20.11
    January 7, 2017
Upgrade to the latest SuiteAnalytics Connect driver no later than January 6, 2017.

Tasks to Update SuiteAnalytics Connect Driver

Note: To test if your account is ready for this transition, you can use your sandbox test environment where the older driver versions will stop working on December 14, 2016. Download and install the latest SuiteAnalytics Connect driver. To do so, go to your NetSuite home page and click Set Up SuiteAnalytics Connect in the Settings portlet. To update the driver:On Windows – Use the installer to update your current ODBC, JDBC, or ADO.NET driver.
On Linux – Back up the existing ODBC or JDBC driver files by moving them to a different location, then extract the new driver files to the folder where the older driver version was previously installed.

After you have installed the latest driver version, you must update your NetSuite connections, to use certificate-based server authentication and to provide a NetSuite Account ID and Role ID on every connection. As of January 7, 2017, any connections based on the new drivers that do not meet these requirements will not work.
