    Our WMS is capturing the Actual Shipping Cost from fedex into a custom field "Actual Shipping Cost". The CFO here wan't that information on the Invoice for reporting profitability (because they make money on shipping) for Commission calculations.

    I cannot for the life of me get a custom field on the invoice to populate with the field from the Fulfillment.

    Anyone out there have any ideas of am I in need of a different solution.

    It's complicated and will involve scripting.

    We have a similar need. The trick is to have a custom field on each Item Fulfillment that indicates which Invoice it belongs to. We call ours "Linked Invoice". We have a script in place which automatically populates this field each time an invoice is created.
