nzaleski@usatcorp.comSorry, really dumb question. I have spent some time trying to look through all of NS permissions, but I cannot find the permission to allow me to create workflows on transaction. When I choose transaction, the only sub category provided is “Bin Worksheet”, ie. no Sales Order, Estimate, Opportunities etc. My boss had ensured me that I have all permissions (set to at least edit) on the following; Setup->Workflow and Transaction->Opportunity . (Opportunities are the specific workflow I am trying to work on now).
Again, I know its kinda a dumb question, but if anyone knows this off the top of their head it would be greatly appreciated.

nzaleski@usatcorp.comSo seems like something weird was gong on. My boss pretty much gave me every permission up to edit permission and I still could not access transaction on workflows. We then started looking at some of the global permission and these seemed to work. Still strange, especially since I did have access to the transactions (and other items) when the Sandbox was open.

mcelosaThe ability to create a transaction via workflows is currently an enhancement (Enhancement # 180033 – Workflow Manager > Create Record > Ability to create new Transaction Records). Please create a support case so that yours can be counted as one vote.

mcelosaAn alternate solution is through scripting. Here’s the SuiteAnswers article: Create transaction records via the Workflow Manager (ID: 22521)
