All,

I have a few workflows applied to a custom record to hide fields based on selections. I also have one to set field values based on 2 selections. These workflows are working on the internal version of the form, but not the external. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

I have not been able to get Workflows to fire on EXTERNAL forms. I’ve only tried it for the external case form. The reason I was doing it was to satisfy a requirement I didn’t agree with, so I presented the challenge with strong advice to change our business process. That advice was taken.

However, to satisfy my own curiosity, I spent a little more time with it. I went at it with a client script. Failed at first. Then I tried deploying the script directly to the form (ie open form, go to Custom Code tab and set functions there). As I recall, my preliminary tests were successful. Put that in my back pocket and have not revisited.

Sorry Steven, I don’t believe this is achievable. Not on an Online Custom Form, because to some degree, this form is sort of ‘external’ to NetSuite.
