cowboys11So the error message I’m getting on EVERY import I’ve tried the past couple days is as follows: “You have entered an Invalid Field Value 2697 for the following field: custentity9”
The field “custentity9” is a field that is sourcing the maximum value of transaction date each time the record is loaded and nothing is ever stored in the actual field. The search that it sources this date from is search # 2697 so I understand somewhat what it is saying but I’m wondering why when I try to import and I don’t even map this custom field I am getting this error. I need this field for our business purposes so I can’t eliminate the field but I also don’t want to have to make the field inactive every time I want to do an import since I do imports almost daily.
ANY help would be grateful! =)

ibudimirHello,
In order to help, I would need to know your setup for the field ‘custentity9’.

sandylivingstonTry using a different form, where that field is not referenced, in your import. Under Advanced, you can select a different form.

cowboys11The custentity9 field is a Date field that does not store any values. It is only being applied to the Contact Form and we use the same contact form for everyone to be able to see this custom field. Under the Validation & Defaulting tab, I have a Search selected that will display the Most Recent Transaction Date. The field works perfectly. It is only giving me an error when I try to do a CSV import and I can’t figure out why since I’m not mapping to this custom field or anything.

ibudimirI would agree with ‘sandylivingston’ . I am providing an image of where you can select the form that does not reference this field (on which the field is hidden). You will of course need to create such a form first.
Good luck with your test!
