MikeOnDeckI have the comparative Amount column set to “Same Period of Last FY”. This works great when looking at previous months. If I want to look at the current month or current quarter, I’d rather it show me the “Same Period of Last FY to Date” so that if I’m running this today and I choose May 2013 it will show me 5/1/13-5/8/13 vs 5/1/12-5/8/12 instead of the complete month of May in 2012.
Thanks,
Mike

bboeseRE: Use "To Date" option in Comparative Income Statement
Click link below and under Reporting/Search tab set Report by Period to “Never”. Please note you may want to switch between “Financials Only” or “All reports” or “Never”, depending on your specific reporting needs.

KoujiTo expound on bboese’s answer, you may try this:Go to Home>Set Preferences>Analytics tab
Set the REPORT BY PERIOD preference to “Never”
Click Save
Go to Reports>Financial>Comparative Income Statement>Customize Summary
Go to Edit Columns
Click on the Amount column
Select “Relative to today’s date” on the Alternate Date Range Type drop-down
Then select “(Custom)” on the Alternate Date Range drop-down
On the From field, select 5/1/13
On the As of field, select 5/8/13
Do the same for the Comparative Amount column but select 5/1/12 on the From field and 5/8/12 on the As of field
Click PreviewI hope this helps.
