    Have an anybody the excel add in to convert excel format to unicode CSV?

    Where can i find it from? Please give me the downloading link.

    I have using add in named setupfiles_add_unicode_CSV_excel before. But it cannot installed.Because there is error occured message during setup->downloading files process . Or how i can solve this error?

    We use Open Office to achieve this (Calc is equivalent of Excel), which is widely available freeware.

    RE: unicode CSV add in for excel

    Agreed – OO Calc actually asks you which character set to export. Google Docs also exports CSV’s as UTF-8.

    FYI, if you’re going the other way and want to open NS Unicode files with Excel, first open the file in Notepad++ and convert to ‘UTF with BOM.’ It will open, but of course it will break again if you save as CSV. I tend to do most work in Excel with native files, and then open and export at the end in OO Calc.
