My periodic task loads (Activity/Task single file add records) do not work any more since the last update… The task is mapping to the Contact field and Company field

    zero records load…Results tells me:

"Invalid contact reference key James Doe for company 1503."

when that contact is indeed properly associated with that customer internal ID…

I've also noticed that since the update-contacts are listed in relational form on tasks – i.e "Toms Trucking: James Doe" rather than just "James Doe" as it used to… could this be related?

I need to be able to load tasks!

anyone else encounter this? any suggestions?

RE: Unable to csv load tasks…latest update changed contact conenction?

I am having this same issue this morning after our update Friday night. Did you receive any response to your post?

    Hi:

I do csv uploads of tasks as well. I have been successful this morning in doing the uploads by making sure the contact field is populated as follows: "CUS59999 Company XYZ : Doe, James"

If you have ASAP Utilities on your excel program (download the trial version to at least get started), use the merge column data (join cells) option to combine the Company field and Contact field together and place a " : " in between the cells.

It will get the tasks into the system.

BUT, Netsuite HAS to change contact field back to the way it was. This creates even more steps for my reps on these task forms and they hate it. Plus it makes uploading tasks in CSV form an even longer process… not to mention breaking established integration processes for sure.

    Hope this helps.

I was successful by updating my search that originally pulls info for the CSV import and adding the Contact Internal ID. Had to do some extra work, but got my data in. Also, I filed a case and spoke with Support to demo how it was before and what is necessary now.

    Thanks for your suggestions!
