AIK72Has anyone figured out a way to run a trial balance with account numbers only. My results come back as (17000 – Intangible Assets : 17000-900 – Other Intangible Assets). I have tried to put the account: number field but it only gives it as a line item entry. Thanks

skasaiYou may use the Number field found under the Trial Balance Folder > Account (Line) subfolder.

AIK72RE: Trial Balance with Account Numbers Only Thanks. It worked. I did call support and they were unable to help. Is there a way to run the trail balance my month so I can see the balances by month?

skasaiHi Aaron, Glad to know it worked. We will review your support case and address it. Currently, we cannot create a trial balance report showing values per month but we have enhancements logged. You may vote for enhancement 174010 – to have Relative Alternate Date range on Trial balance report.

zhuhzhuhWe’ve been using NS for a few months. It has been constantly frustrating to see some very basic requests or needs just cannot be handled by NS – and usually I was directed to do the famous “enhancement” referral.

mlumangayaHi Aaron/zhuhzhuh, For the Trial Balance by month, perhaps you can try the following: It may be a bit tedious but it’ll help in a way. – Navigate to Reports>Financial>Trial Balance>Customize Summary – Under the Edit Columns tab, set the details of the ‘Amount’ column as follows: 1. Alternate Period Range Type = Relative to Today’s Date 2. Cumulative Value = False 3. Alternate Period Range = (Custom) 4. Periods = highlight the month you wish to show (you can do multi select but if it’s a per month TB, select a single month) – The above will result into a single Amount column that will show the movement for that specific month. – Expand the Trial Balance folder and select ‘Amount’ – Customize the details of the second Amount column but this time, highlight the next month you wish to see. – You have to add multiple ‘Amount’ columns depending on the number of months you wish to run. 5. Save/Preview I hope this helps. Thanks and have a great day!
