I am setting up a workflow to email invoices and credits to certain customers upon creation. It works fine, but I want to dress it up a bit.

How do I make the transaction number appear in the subject line of the email?

Hello,

If your email template for workflow to email invoices is Scriptable Type, you may want to add the syntax ${transaction.tranid} to automatically populate the Invoice Number. I hope this helps.

Use the relevant field ID in curly braces on teh email subject line or template. Example : PO – {tranid} is pending for your approval this shows up the PO number on the subject line. Hope this helps
