    All,

I am trying to show “Supervisor Approval” in View mode and hide in edit mode. Is there a way apart from workflow and script to achieve this? Or those are the only two options?

    Thank you,

    Sree

I don’t think so Sree. Doing this via a Workflow is very easy it that’s what your concern might be?

Thanks Kirk. I have this in current PO, but don’t know where it is being set. If Workflow, I should be seeing in the log (all workflows enable logging is checked), and I don’t see in scripts, so not sure how it is happening. I tried the form to set the screen fields for Supervisor Approval to Disabled, But that does not hide during Edit. But thanks for the response.

Just to check, you don’t have Custom Approval Routing (Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > Approval Routing) ticked at all?

Correct Kirk. I don’t have that for Purchase Orders and only for Supplier Bills.

Hi Sree, normally for these sorts of approvals, the person assigned as the Supervisor or Expense Approver in the Employee record is the one whom approves these records. To do so, they can go through the Employee Centre, or via the record directly or some record types even have their own approval page (e.g., Approve Bills and Approve Sales Orders).

    Cheers,

    Kirk.
