gmctallTrying to leverage custom transaction functionality; however, one simple gap I see is the summary section missing at the top right of the form. I feel like I am missing some standard setting somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

david.smithCurrently I think you need to create this on your own via script.

gmctallI created a case just to see. Definitely not supported natively at this time and I was told it is not recommended to do it via Suitescript due to usage implications. I'll have to evaluate the use case per customer and see. I think it is really shortsighted that Custom Transactions are not natively used for "real" transactions; rather than journal entries (basic, journal, header only). I know you can add item custom columns, etc. but working with other, inferior cloud products, custom transactions are a go-to value add for every customer….

david.smithI'm not sure why you wouldn't do it via suitescript. NetSuite is build for customization. A little scripting would handle this quite nicely. I've done it before but it's been some time.
gmctall replied on 03/02/2017, 11:30 AM: I wrote some test code and it is pretty slow. Plus, I can’t get it position well on the custom form.
Part of the speed issue is I wanted to be able to see the changes in real-time. I guess I am going to wait for my enhancement request to go somewhere.
