I have followed a customer and upon creation of transactions on that customer I get updates in the feed and the transactions show there.

However, when a new transaction is created on that customer but from another employee, I do not see an update in the feed. Is there any way to do that?

We want to be able to see all new transactions on a customer that we follow, regardless of who creates the transactions.

    Thanks!

    Hi alterv,

You can do that by making sure that the following “requirements” are done. Some of the things below may have already been done, but I just like to make it complete as possible.

    A. The Administrator must add the following records on “Enable Records” (Setup > Customization > SuiteSocial Setup)

    1. Sales Order

    a. Set “Autopost on Create” = Yes

    2. Customer

    a. Create a “Related Record Subscription” with the following field values:

    – Name =

    – Related Record = Sales Order

    – Related Record Field = Customer

    B. Each user must subscribe to the Related Record Subscription

    1. Go to SuiteSocial News Feed

    2. Edit Profile

    3. Go to Subscriptions > Auto Subscriptions > Related Record Subscriptions

    4. Check the created related record subscription

    5. Save

    C. Ensure that the user follows the Customer record

Note: I’ve just specified “Sales Order” in the steps above, but you may do the same for other transaction types that you want to see updates.

If you have any question, please let me know.

    Thanks.

    Hi Eligon,

That was exactly what we did but it was not working. Today I see that they show on the news feed. As we are testing in Sandbox does that maybe affect when the changes go through? Wild guess but I don’t see any other reason why.

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer.

    Cheers,

    Erind

Sorry for a very late reply. Are you saying that it is working now? It should be working as well in Sandbox.

Let me know how I can help you further.

    Kind regards,

    Ems

No worries at all. It is working but it takes a while for changes to take effect. And I don’t know how long. I have to test some more to understand if it is Sandbox, that account or SuiteSocial.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
