how to sort a sourced select field ("custrecord type not a custpage type of field") in alphabetical. or should i use a customized one. this is a little issue but makes some sense. hehe

That setting is usually on the list it is sourcing from.

Hi David, I'm not sure that's possible for this scenario. It is if the field is a Custom List – i.e., "customlist…" ID – but in this instance, noehcc was asking about a "custrecord…" type (i.e., a Custom Record). If this is the case, then I'm not sure this can be done.

thanks for the comment guys. i think there's no way to sort in alphabetical order for a field that sourced to a another field.

example.

country have a multiple loading port.

fields

country *list

port * list – sourced from country *this cant be sort to alphabetical. else to do a coding for this one.

NetSuite must do some enhancement this one.
