plantscanHelp with ns_concat – The saved search I have created on the item records also includes the POs and vendor name on each PO using ns_concat. I don't currently show the date of the PO, but I could. As ns_concat interprets everything as a string (from my understanding which could be wrong) is there a way to display the date of the PO, the PO#, and the vendor name of that PO in my search results, BUT in sorted order by date (descending), or just sorted at all?

POwenReally not sure if it would help you in your search but when I needed to sort results when using NS_CONCAT I separated the different field results (in my case I had Quantities and Item Categories per Customer) in separate formulas, and grouped the fields, to give the results side by side in columns. Then exported .csv, using Excel to layout the results into an easier to read format.

plantscanThank you for your suggestion. Marty Zigman provided an interesting answer, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. He suggested that I format the date to yymmdd and then he thought they would come out in sorted order. I decided for now the easiest thing to do was just create a formula with an HTML link (and passing the internid as a url parameter) that will link to another page with those details from the transactions that I need. And since I can pass the sort order as a parameter that solved the problem easily.
When I get some free time I'll try some other things out and let you know the solution.
