thetfordjAs of the last update, we have an issue where the filter for "Name" in the transactions table is not showing every entity. It shows some customers, and some vendors, but excludes others for reasons I cannot figure out. There is nothing special about these entities compared to others that show.
If I hardcode the name as a filter within the search, then it works as long as it's only one entity. If I try to hardcode multiple entities, then it shows them in the web view, but will omit them from the download. Interestingly, if I remove the filter from the "Available Filters" tab, it will download the full detail including the entities that it omitted before. So the issue appears to be entirely with the filter drop down itself and how it interacts with the search.
I have been able to workaround this issue by using specific customer or vendor IDs in my filters instead of the transaction Name field, but there's one issue that breaks this workaround. I use a search which pulls all transactions for a vendor, however, voided checks are entered as Journal Entries which just so happen to use the transaction Name field and not the vendor ID field, causing them not to appear.
Ideally I'd love a way to fix the name drop down filter, but does anyone have a solution for getting JEs to show up along with the others? I can hardcode edit the search with the specific vendor using transaction name each time but I'd really rather not go that route, particularly since it won't work for anyone without edit abilities.

d.livingI am having the same problem too, some stupid update from Netsuite.
It's terrible, I am having to add the filter Customer Fields…(Name/ID) to all the old searches.
This field is a Text type, I prefer the list in some situations.

david.smithI think something happened with the 2017 update. I have an open defect because of missing search results when I use script to pull results. The script and the UI do not have the same results and are inconsistant.
Please check if the results change when running multiple times. I've been told this is a sorting issue but I'm not accepting that answer.
