    My apologies if the title didn’t make sense. When I am trying to do is restrict a users access to a case if another user already has the case opened in edit mode. (e.g. Case comes into netsuite, 1 support person grabs it, hits edit, then begins working. Another support person sees it, is not aware it’s being worked, and attempts to begin working the same case, at this point I would like netsuite to restrict the second persons access to the case already being worked). Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any information.

    Pessimistic Locking or preventing users from editing a record at the same time is currently an Enhancement Request. You can vote for 96103 in SuiteIdeas or submit an online case to be attached to it.     Why is Record Locking not a STANDARD Feature throughout the system? Seems to me that this is a MAJOR system fault that should have been addressed by Netsuite many, many years ago.
