Hi,

I was wondering if it might be possible to add the related fullfillment (and for that matter invoice) as a column field on a sales order.

We frequently have orders that ship in multiple shipments, and when referencing the shipments on related records, one has to open each fulfillment (and invoice) to find the one associated with a particular item.

To get around this, I would like to include a link in the columns of the sales order showing the related fulfillment and invoice per line item.

Anyone heard of any customization like this?

For a previous client, we did something similar. The client billed customers quarterly in advance for a monthly membership-based service and as such, each future month’s invoice amount needed to be written initially to deferred revenue, then journaled from deferred revenue to revenue for the correct month. They then wanted, from the invoice, a transaction column that provided a link back to the relevant journal. This was all achieved through SuiteScript; so to answer your question: yes, it is achievable.
