We just moved to NetSuite in March and our functional consultants made a simple custom Advanced PDF template for the customer deposit receipt when a card gets charged, etc. Right now it simply shows payment method, payment source, payment date, payment amount and some customer information. We are getting some customers complaining/requesting that they don’t know what the receipt is for, because it only lists the sales order # but no item information. I am struggling to find a way to pull in the relevant Sales Order line item data or at least more detail for the customer from the Sales Order itself. Can this be done, and if so, what am I missing in order to do so? Keep in mind we are new to NetSuite, so I have had some success with making some custom changes to our custom invoices, but I am stumped on this.
