Hi there,

I'm trying to do a basic field update using the CSV import.

Even though most of the names match with what is in NetSuite, I get the following error message and nothing is updated:

Could not find matching record. Primary name field was not mapped or is empty.

What is the Primary name field in the Prospect record? I'm using Company Name.

I just did an upload for a custom record where the parent is the customer master. I used the value in the Customer ID field – for us this is a 5 digit ID number plus the company name.

I'm just using Company name, as not all companies in the CSV file are in NetSuite. I was hoping with the update NetSuite would export results of those entities that are not in there. I tried to use Entity ID but I don't see that in the list of options.

I had that problem, too. Your custom form needs to have the field set to display Normal. This allows you to edit the field.
