In the Pivot Report Builder, once I’ve added a field to a section, I then can’t remove it.

The Reset button – which I assume clears all the fields – doesn’t seem to do anything.

Because it remembers the previous settings, if I incorrectly add a field, I don’t seem to have any options at all to remove it.

Am I missing something really obvious here?

Hi Mark,

Try “right-clicking” and you should see the Delete option appear which will then remove the selected field from the dimension.

Ah yes!

I had to remove the child field before it would let me delete the parent!
