    I have a client that wants to be able to view their inventory online. I was thinking that an ODBC or JDBC to Excel (office 365) sheet would be a good way to go. Has anyone done this or had success binding data to any other grid online? Thanks

    You could probably use the Web Query in reports to build a file that can be updated on demand with a refresh. ODBC might be overkill for a simple grid (not to mention it costs money and is one more thing to track).

    See SuiteAnswers Answer Id: 8350 for more on the Web Query method. Note that Web Query functionality is not available for financial statements.

    We could never get an answer from NS We actually solved this by building a custom solution with the API.
