thopwoodI have several clients dependent on ODBC for third party integration with NetStuite. They are scheduled to be upgraded to 2007, but it is impossible to test the integration because odbc is not available.
odbcserver.beta.netsuite.com simply doesn’t exist. I can’t connect to it, I can’t ping it, I can not access it in any way.
Is the URL different or is this an oversight by NetSuite?
If I’m using the wrong URL, great. Please let me know the proper URL.
If this is an oversight by NetSuite, please let me know when it will be available.
Thanks.

Nick HorowitzIs the old legacy ODBC using Oracle 9i driver and Putty encryption client still going to be available with 2007? Or only the new ODBC that doesn’t need Putty?

LukeRE: ODBC Not available on 2007 Beta
ODBC should be back up and fully functional on Beta. Please let me know if you run into any issues.

JuneRE: ODBC Not available on 2007 Beta
Hi Nick,
I noticed this question got by us in May. The Oracle driver and Putty encryption client still work with 2007.0 but we will end support of this connection in a future release (dates are undefined at this time). All existing ODBC customers will be notified well in advance of the change however so no immediate action is required.
