Is anyone successfully connecting to Netsuite via ODBC and pulling data to a Microsoft Access dB?

    RE: ODBC and Microsoft Access

Yes, finally I got the ODBC set in, after re-configuring the Internet firewalls to allow the port 1706/tcp inbound from static wan ip and outbound from our network. It depends on how complicated your network config is. The simpler your network (such as latop connecting from home, with no firewall), the easier the setup. When installing the NetSuiteODBC driver, let the download install the driver itself into the System DSN. Do not try to add new DSN. When connecting to the NetSuiteODBC driver from MS Access, open the ‘Files of types’ as ODBC databases and select the Machine Data Source ‘NetSuite.com’, click OK, you will be prompted for logging with your NetSuite access. And voila.

    Good luck!
