Is there any way to get the new financial reporting structure selected via ODBC including the included accounts?

RE: ODBC and Financial Reporting Structure

Because the new Financial Reporting Structure is dynamic based on activity, there is no selectable data to choose from.

RE: ODBC and Financial Reporting Structure

    Ivan,

    thanks for the answer!

Unfortunatelly it is a more a confirmation of the problem than a solution. What is the recommendation to get the reporting structure in an external view with using ODBC?

In the help under the ODBC view Posting Account Activity the new financial statements are mentioned and this view is reecommended to be used. But it only gives the account id and no idea how to structure the accounts.

    Regards.

Describing it as ‘financial statements’ in the help may be a bit misleading and we will change this to be more precise.

What you can get in the ODBC view is the raw financial data used to construct financial statement reports, however as Ivan says it is not currently possible to expose the financial layouts you’ve created within the NetSuite financial report builder. Out of curiosity, can you describe the use case or the reporting tool you would like to use to create a financial report externally this way?
