steven_stewartHi All,
I need some help with this one. As many of you know, I am work for a contact center. I have many companies within my NetSuite (e.g. Each company has a whole set a custom fields, forms, workflows, etc that ONLY that company uses). The problem is, each time I create a new custom field, sub tab, anything, it gets added to the Standard Customer form (if its an entity item) or the Standard Case Form (if it's a CRM item).
NetSuite appears to favor these standard forms for things like Online Case Form submissions, etc. Is there any way to modify the Standard Case (or customer) form itself to eliminate what fields are displayed on these standard forms? If not, is there a way to change the Global DEFAULT standard forms that NetSuite defaults to? As an example, my standard case form has over 265 fields on it. You can see how this can get messy.
Also, does anyone know how to stop NetSuite from deploying every field created under the MAIN tab globally to EVERY form within the system? This is terribly inefficient and makes things like adding sub-tabs extremely difficult (everytime I add a sub-tab, or accidentally add a field to MAIN (without adding it to another sub-tab then moving it over to main) I need to go through almost 60 forms and disable it, making build-out times horrible. Thanks in advance for ANY information in this regard!
Best Regards,
Steve Stewart

JCiroccoI may be missuing something but when you create a new custom field, click save and apply to forms. Uncheck the forms you do not want the new field on.

christopheryangNot to hijack this thread, but we've setup a case form that draws information from a custom online contact form; information like name, e-mail address, and phone #'s are all automatically populated by NetSuite, but I'm trying to add the country field as well and I can't seem to get the thing to work right; Can case forms have a country field using NLCOUNTRY ?
