We are looking for a highly effective Backend Web Developer. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to create the back end of our ecommerce site. This developer will work extensively with our internal Business Process and Marketing teams providing technical expertise and development experience.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExplain the technical trade-offs of different approaches, including estimating how long each will take to build
Advanced understanding of emerging web technologies
Maintain, contribute and adhere to our programming best practices and guidelineโ
Understand client business process requirements
Assist in documenting functional specifications based on client requirements
Develop and deploy customizations for NetSuite
Develop and implement integrations with NetSuite
Unit test customizations and integrations for functional verification
Implement NetSuite Suite Commerce (Site Builder and Advanced)
QualificationsUnderstands the technologies and languages which power the web such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
1-2+ years ERP (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) systems experience
Thorough understanding of business processes including:
Order to Cash; Procure to Pay; Record to Report
1-2+ years development experience with an ERP application preferred
1-2+ years experience with web development including:
HTML/DHTML/JavaScript/Jquery/CSS/XML
Experience with NetSuite financials, distribution and CRM functionality preferred
Experience with NetSuite SuiteCommerce (Site Builder and Advanced) preferred
Ability to create and complete project deliverables
Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks
Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations
