Anyone who moved from NetSuite Enterprises to OneWorld, how was the transition ? Any big issue during implentation ? I’m just trying to find out how it goes because I’m getting conflicting readings on OneWorld.

    RE: Issues with OneWorld ?

OneWorld is a great product. It is the only multi-subsidiary product in it’s price bracket, which is a big deal. Overall it works very well. There are still functional gaps, like interco transactions, and some other functionalities don’t work on OW (such as Estimated Gross Profit). However, all the problems with OW are simply annoyances, you can live without them. OW’s management of subsidiaries works very well.

Migrating from a regular Netsuite to OneWorld is something that should be done with care. If you’re lucky and you’ve maintained clean, well defined data, you can migrate very easily. If you’re migrating an account that’s a mess, it’s basically going to be a reimplementation. So wether you have a strong in-house team of administrators, or you hire Partners, make sure to plan carefully first, and everything should go well.
