Kathy WollWe need an income statement by parent class – meaning that it would include all transactions the involve the subclasses. Is this possible? I have been unsuccessful getting data by selecting the parent class.
Thanks

arequinoHi, have you tried to set the Column footer field from Total to Class (Hierarchy) or Department (Hierarchy) ? Does it arrive at your expected results?

KoujiHello all,
I was not able to get the Parent Classification as a column, but I was able to get them to show as Rows.Go to Reports>Financial>Income Statement>Customize Summary
Click on Edit ColumnsExpand the Budget and Financial folder>Class sub-folder
Click on the field “Name (Grouped)”
On the right pane, click on the newly added column
Click the <-Move button until it becomes greyed out
Check the "Group With Previous Column" boxClick on More OptionsSet the Expand Level to 3
Click Preview
Note: You might need to toggle around the Expand and Collapse button until you see the desired resultsI hope this helps.
