I need to update an entire product line’s standard costs (located in Locations subtab). I wanted to do this in a CSV import. I made a doc using 2 fields (Internal ID & Standard Cost). I ran the import and it threw the following error (this was a test using just a single item).

Adding new line to sublist locations is not allowed.

I did it twice, once choosing to overwrite sublists and once not overriding, same result.

Any suggestions?

cost is the posting cost to your balance sheet. Adjusting that is not easy or safe. I use FIFO so that cost is calculated on the Item Receipt of that items that are in stock.
