ms_cherrieHi, I tried importing invoices with multiple line items but after it got uploaded, NetSuite assigned invoice numbers for each line. So if I have one invoice with 10 lines items on it, NetSuite assigned 10 invoice numbers for each line rather than combining all of it in one invoice.
Any idea on how to import historical invoices with multiple line items?
Thanks,

Olivier Gagnon NCRE: Importing Invoices with Multiple Lines
Easiest way (though not the only way) is to map an External ID value – i.e. all lines belonging to the same invoice should share the same External ID.

ms_cherrieRE: Importing Invoices with Multiple Lines
When I tested it, it worked fine. Now what I don’t understand is some line items on the invoices did not get imported while the other invoices gets imported in its entirety (all line items). It doesn’t make sense
For Instance:
Invoice 1 has 10 line items but only 1 got imported
Invoice 2 has 10 line items and all were imported
These invoices came from the same and has the same format and external IDs are in similar fashion too.
Is this a bug?

I didn’t get an error, which is weird. But I did find a workaround. I did another upload to update all invoices and added “Orderline” on my mapping. It worked fine after that.
