Clark HauschildtWe purchase lists of potential leads from time-to-time and import these into NetSuite. In some cases, we would like to import the list, send an email out to each of the leads, and then remove them immediately thereafter from our NetSuite database. There doesn't seem to be a way to 'mass delete' leads. Is there another way to remove the new leads?

The Wizard of OzRE: Import leads and then remove them?
You can mass-inactive them.

If we keep increasing the number of Inactive leads in our database, will this slow down our processing time at all?

Olivier Gagnon NCRE: Import leads and then remove them?
It will affect Entity searching, but only for very large volumes. Are we talking about thousands or millions here?
If you really want to delete them, you can using scripting. However, if you are importing them in NS just to send an email and then deleting them, I would re-examine your process. While NS could be used in this way, that's not really what a CRM is for. You might want to consider exploring other software specialized in one-time email blasts. As a CRM, NS is more appropriately used in scenarios where you want to keep the Leads in your database.

There is a mass delete for entities (i.e. leads, customers, vendors etc) that support can activate for you.
