    Hi,

Is there a way to import item receipts into NetSuite? There doesn't seem to be an option to do this using the import assistant.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,

    Ricky Mistry

We are tracking this in Enhancement 168961 CSV Import > Transactions > Purchases/Vendors > Receive Purchase Order > Ability to do CSV Import for Item Receipts.

    Hi Robert,

I'm fairly new to NetSuite, so i'm not sure what that means. What is Enhancement 168961?

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,

    Ricky Mistry

Alternatively, from the Support tab, use the SuiteIdeas portlet to search through all existing enhancement requests to vote on, or enter a new idea for making NetSuite better. See SuiteAnswers Answer Id: 10054 for details.

rnedelkow, while we thank you greatly for chiming in on this subject, we would greatly appreciate a more robust response than this… (Of course all such requests are tracked via enhancement requests…)

Would be great if you could enlighten the user group on particular difficulties with respect to (a) why item receipts have are not currently able to be imported via CSV, and (b) if these difficulties are going to preclude us for the foreseeable future from importing item receipts via CSV.

rnedelkow replied on 04/06/2015, 08:23 AM: Hi Brian, while the record type isn’t exposed to csv, Product Management is working to expand the import assistant to include item receipts. I’ll follow up internally to see if this is on the roadmap for 2015.2.

You may want to check out the SuiteApp from Celigo called Integrator. They allow CSV import of most any record type that web services can use. There is a "free" version (at least I think it is still free) that you create custom import mappings. All of their connector tools to things like Magento, Amazon, etc, use the Integrator. At my last place we used it to get around issues like CSV imports of Item Receipts. Very intuitive tool.

Voted. Hope to see this enhancement come to light sometime soon. It would greatly improve efficiency in the warehouse and help automate some tedious receipt processes.

    Hi Robert,

    Any news on this?

    Cheers,

Product Management is still reviewing the request but a target release date hasn’t been posted yet.
