CloudHi,
We are trying to add a dozen matrix items via bulk however keep getting error on the imports. I have a Admin Role and I can update the sitecategory manually through item card
You do not have permissions to set a value for element sitecategory due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases.
Before this SiteCategory error, I got ProductFeed error – Same message.
I have given the file to another user who has the Admin role he's getting the same error.
the matrix items do not exist on Netsuite and we have created a new multi select option to display on the site.
Please could anyone help?
Thanks
Mayur

capitoladminI don't like to assume…. rather check the easiest first
Do you have following features enabled?
Matrix Items enabled via Setup > Enable Features > Items Tab > check Matrix Items?
also
Are there any custom item fields you are updating in the Matrix Items? If so, are there any audience role limitations on the custom fields? If so, edit the custom field to add admin and then try again
last but not least:
the windows fix all is reboot, the CSV import error fix all is clear browser cache
Hope this helps….

CloudHi Jennifer,
Thanks for the reply.
1) Matrix is enabled
2) No Limitations. I have full access, and the error it's thrown – Site Cat & Product Feed, I've done uploads before that included these fields.
3) Deleted Cache & Restarted Windows.
No luck. We have a custom multi select list – Called 'Item Options' I don't know if you have that too? This CSV import we have selected quite a few options with pipe | could that be the reason? But then again, if it was why would it throw an error for site cat or Product Feed?
im lost.

jhotzFYI – There is an open defect regarding CSV uploads. We ran into an issue where we could not upload a journal for customers using a currency that does not match the subsidiary currency. I wouldn't be surprised if the issue is more wide spread then what we are experiencing. Not sure if it has to do with our upgrade or an e-fix.
Defect # 215931 – One World > CSV Journal Import > Selecting an entity with a different currency then the subsidiary results in the error: Invalid entity reference key XX for subsidiary X

CloudThanks Jhotz,
We managed to import – 500 approx.
Still get error messages on every import 'an error has occured' thats it. Re-upload it without changing anything and those items that have failed import successfully next time. Bizarre!
