jgrantIs there a way to easily setup a way to run a set of financial statements on demand? Rather than having to run each individual? I am assuming this could be accomplished by some sort of scripting or setting that I am overlooking.

daveweezI wish some one would develop functionality to add a set of Reports or Saved Searches to be run and packaged at the press of a ‘button’.

jgrantThanks for the quick response, Ideally I am looking to run a set of reports or saved searches at the press of button as Dave indicated; would like to have ability to just run a set of reports quickly and unscheduled.

arequinoThis functionality could possibly be ran through a Script. The script could call a Saved Search and would display the results as a page.
This is an added Customization that you may discuss with your Account Managers on how to get this done.

arequinoHi jgrant, I am not sure if this can be done on the current version of NetSuite. If you run two different reports at the same time, you get a warning message that there is another report still running and to try again later. You have to click Refresh button on the report when you see this warning. You may submit a SuiteIdea via your Support Center page so this can be considered as an Enhancement request.

stephen.grayHi There
I work for a consulting company that has a lot of experience with NetSuite and its reporting and helps a lot of clients in this area.
I’ve been using Excel ODBC (ms query) for while now with various clients and its an excellent solution for creating complex querys and reports. I’ve created some templates such as P&L’s, Balance Sheets, Sales Order Lists, Opportunity lists and much more.
I can definitely help with your issue by creating an ODBC query that pulls the data and updates various templates within a spreadsheet through a macro.
Send me an email to stephen.gray@businessadvisorysolutions.co.uk and I’ll come back to you
thanks
Stephen

STedescoHi,
I am looking for a way to design financial reports that can be updated with current data on a monthly basis. Currently we export to Excel and do a lot of formatting to get the reports the way we want to send them out.
What are you using to handle reporting from NetSuite?

carl.billingsStephen’s previous post is an example you could make use of. ODBC is a decent tool and can pulls the recent data on demand and populate whatever reporting database you have.
