Hello all,

I’m am trying to create F/S’s for 6 different departments, one f/s per department. My struggle is it seems to be pulling the department from each transaction vs the department assigned to the chart of accounts. Is there a way to have it pull from the department in the chart of account setup instead?

Any suggesstions?

RE: F/S by Department ?

We use class instead of departments and financial statements by class work great. We use the department to run reports by product line so I tried to filter the income statement by department (product line for my company setup) and it worked however I noticed that I had to modify the existing department filter on the filter tab. I couldn’t use my own department filter. At first I didn’t even notice it was there so I tried to add my own filter and the report didn’t work. You may want to check to see if this default filter (that is set to ALL) is over riding another filter in your report.
