    Hey All ,

    We have added a new field for chart of accounts, whereas when creating a new account the user could select an optional category.

    But unfortunately unlike others this custom field does not appear when designing financial reports, we were unable to use this field to filtering purpose.

    Appreciate your assistance on this matter!

    Hi Savini,

    Do you have more detail on the custom field? It could be to do with the configuration. When I create a custom field for accounts, I’m able to select it as a filter in a financial report (under the subfolder for “Account (Line)” in any of the parent folders). Is the data type of the field a list/record? Are there any access restrictions on the field?

    The issue is when we add a custom field to COA screen to store data , the system does not allow it to be pulled into reports !

    Hi Savini,

    See my previous post. Do you have more info on the configuration of the custom field? When I try to test this, it works for me and I am able to pull the custom field in to reports.

    Hi savini,

    I need more information about your custom but I will be going on a hunch here.

    On your custom field, check whether the Store Value is checked, and the Default Level for Search/Reporting (under Access tab) is set to “Edit”.
