antI’ve search a little and cannot find a thread showing the answer I need – ironically I did come across a thread that asked exactly the opposite to what I need
I have a report – a very simple report that show every sales order and credit that a specific customer has had since the dawn of time.
On the report that the user sees they are able to adjust the date parameters at the bottom of the report. But they cannot alter the customer.
I got around this by editing the report and using a filter to show just the customer that they wanted – but I do not want to have to do that every time they need the information for someone different.
I also do not want them to be mucking around editing the report because you’ll guarantee that it’ll get broken…
How do I add a drop down list to the footer of the report?
Thanks
Ant

afuerteI need that too, you can do that with saved searches but I have never seen it in a report.

antRE: End user filtering in a report
Does anyone know if this is possible? If it is how do I do it?
Cheers

SdelossantosPart of our Version 2012.1 releases is the ability to choose the filters to be included in the footer of a report, similar to Saved Searches. This allows users to define a new set of filter/s other than the predefined filters (like Date, etc) after the report is generated – without the need to customize the report again.
For more information about this, please check our Release Notes for 2012.1 under your Support Tab, and look for the topic “Customization of Report Footer Filters”.
