    Hi All,

My HR Department would like to create a Report (Not search) that is based on custom employee fields (e.g. Terminate Date). However, when looking into the types of reports I can create, they appear to ALL be finance related. Is there a module I am missing (I am the administrator, so nothing should be access related)? The types of reports I can customize are the following:

If they are custom fields on the Employee record I would do a search instead of a report.

    Hi John,

Thanks for the the quick response. I had attempted to sell them on this, but they are looking to do attrition reporting which would require the reporting module. I would need to bring in the terminate data, but I can’t seem to get any employee related fields into the reporting module.

I’m not sure I see the connection between “attrition” and “require reporting module.” Maybe I’m just having trouble visualizing the request. Perhaps formulas (simple, maybe complex) with smart use of Grouping in a saved search will satisfy. Maybe requires something heavier, like a 2+ saved searches and a Suitelet.

Having said all that, it seems like a smart thing for NetSuite to include, especially if they’re looking to tease folks into utilizing NS as an HRIS. In my system, there is one report in the Employees/HR section called Employee Change History. Could be useful, but I don’t have time to mess with it now.

Thank Voltron, that gives me some avenues to explore. Much Appreciated!
