jatm@cmIs it possible to automate the attaching of a document and sending an agreement with a workflow?
I have been able to create the agreement but unable to find a way to attach and send the agreement.

coreyI’d be interested in doing this as well. A year or so ago I built a workflow action script to create an agreement and send it for signature but that required reverse engineering their scripts and calling the suitelet they use and it all felt precarious as I was subject their code changes.

dmatyasOne can attach only current transaction to an email sent from workflow. It’s not possible to attach a generic attachment using workflow at the moment. Have you filed in an enhancement request?

Jason HaganWas anyone able to find a working solution for this. I am trying to find a way we can automate some of our renewal transactions. We would like to create a script or workflow to trigger the “Send for Signature” in bulk and send out dozens of quotes at the same time.

k_duncHi Jason,
So you’ve automated the creation of one or more documents that need to be signed? If so, are these stored in your File Cabinet? What I’m trying to ascertain, is some sort of ‘trigger’ that you can use in order to email these things out. E.g., all new documents ‘created today’?
The next issue to overcome is how each of these documents links to a given Entity (Customer / Employee / Vendor etc.). Do you have a naming convention for your files, or are they saved within a specific directory per Entity?
Cheers.
