    Hi

By some oversight, we have imported an "add" instead of "add or update" when importing a batch of invoices, and have therefore doubled up the value of approximately 9,000 invoices.

Is there a means to export invoices (including line items to identify duplicates) and then a means to delete or remove rows identified?

As a new user, my searching of help hasn't shown me any solutions as yet.

You can create a saved search to export details of your invoices.

    1. Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New > Transaction

    2. On criteria, set Type = Invoice; Main Line = False

    3. On results, add the Item name and amount.

Your list should now show the invoices and the lines inside the invoices.

If the items inside the invoices are the duplicate (and not the invoice itself) consider re-importing your invoices and on the options on import step 2 (Import Options) select Update and tick Overwrite sublists.

Field level help says "For updates, enable this option to cause imported sublist data to completely replace existing sublist data, instead of selectively updating or being appended. When this option is disabled, imported sublist data selectively updates keyed sublists and appends to non-keyed sublists.

Hope this helps you Happy New YEar

I cant insert a screenprint, but have checked the box for Overwrite sublists, but it didnt work…

Any other suggestions out there, to overwrite when i have a duplicated line item within an invoice?

    RE: Duplicate invoice lines imported

If you contact Netsuite Support, they may be able to give you access to a Mass Deletion tool. At least, they used to do that, but I haven't heard about that in a while. Worth a shot, though.
