In my Sandbox I created a bundle.

In my production account I selected Setup->Customization->SuiteBundler->Install

There are three choices for source:

    ————————————————-

Please indicate the bundle’s location. If installing directly from an account, make sure to specify the account ID.

    SuiteSource Repository

    Production Account

    Sandbox Account

    ____________________________________________

There is a radio button to select one of the three choices. For the Account choices there is a text box to specifiy the “account ID.”

    1. Any clue as to what the account ID might be? I tried the 6 digit number used when contacting support. I also tried my email address.

    2. Anyone have this working in the Sandbox? When I go to “Install Bundle” there (having previously accepted the Terms and Conditions) I now get the dreaded “unexpected error” page.

    3. Has anyone found any documentation that describes the details of how the bundler works?

    4. I placed the code in the repository and kind of expected it to show up in the SuiteBundles folder in the file cabinet. That didn’t happen. Does the SuiteBundles folder have a purpose?

    Thanks

    RE: Does SuiteBundler Work?

    Hi Chris,

I started looking at the suitebundler this morning. Did you get it to work?

    1. Any clue as to what the account ID might be? I tried the 6 digit number used when contacting support. I also tried my email address.

You need to enter the account id for your sandbox if your bundle is located in your sandbox. To locate the sandbox account id, go to Support -> Customer Service -> Contact Support by Phone, from the sandbox instance. The account id should appear.

    4. I placed the code in the ‘repository’ and kind of expected it to show up in the SuiteBundles folder in the file cabinet. That didn’t happen. Does the SuiteBundles folder have a purpose?

I’m having the same problem here. When I created my bundle, I checked the box to have it copied to the file cabinet. I guessed that it would end up in the SuiteBundles folder but that didn’t happen. I can’t find my bundle anywhere in the file cabinet.

I have no idea about your question 2 and 3.

Anyone knows where we can find the bundle repository?

    Thank you,

    JM

    RE: Does SuiteBundler Work?

Agreed, there are definitely outstanding questions about SuiteBundler. Here are some others…

Some of the info in this thread may help, though, as it does contain some replies from the documentation team….

Please make sure there is a case filed for the above so we can address it.

There is an overview in the Sneak Peek document for the Platform area that covers SuiteBundler that will be helpful if you have not read it yet.

The repository is something maintained by NetSuite – it can not be logged into and is not part of your account. You interact with placing bundles into the Repository via the “Availability” link of an existing bundle, while installing bundles that are already in the Repository is done via the “Install Bundle” link on the Customization menu.

In terms of the SuiteBundles folder, that will show any SuiteScript files that have been added to your account as a result of installing a bundle.

    Hope this helps,

    RE: Does SuiteBundler Work?

    I filed the following cases:

Case #610727 regarding the Unexpected Error when trying to install bundles in the Sandbox.

Case #610737 for created bundles now showing up in the install bundle list. And the radio buttons (repository, production, sandbox) doesn’t change the list even after entering the correct account number

I can create bundles but it is hard to test if installing bundles works.
