I’m trying to have items on an estimate display differently based on what type of item they are. For instance, if an item is a Description I don’t want to display the item name, only the description itself. I’m trying to use an if/else statement, which I thought would be the easiest way, but I’m running into an issue. Here’s approximately what I’m doing:

    Code:
      ${item.item} #if>
However descriptions still print the item. I’ve tried just displaying ${item.type} on the form but it comes up blank. Does this mean I can’t use the type field in the advanced forms? Or am I using the wrong field?

I use item.itemtype on Advanced PDF Forms to differentiate between item types.

    Hope that helps!

Of course it doesn’t match the suitescript record. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Is there any sort of documentation on these fields and what the syntax is for them?
