    Hello,

We would like to default the Ship Complete field to true on Sales Order entry. A SuiteAnswer article describes how it can be done but this technique is not working.

Would anyone have feed back on how to do it via defaults or does this have to be done via SuiteScript.

    Hi Jessie,

โ€‹You can Customise your Sales Order Form > Screen Fields > Shipping > Locate ‘Ship Complete’ and set the Check Box Default = Checked > Save.

    Best,

    Sheryl,

Previously, I’ve tried to do what you’ve described. The field value is defaulted from the setting on the customer record. The CHALLENGE arises when a Lead goes directly to entering an order as there is no Ship complete on a lead. I’ve not figured out a way to do this via forms. Had to write script.

Please let me know if you know of a way to do it via forms.

    Thank you for your help!

For us, the method that s_durante described works. The sales order form overrides what the customer record says.
