We currently have a NetSuite form running that when filled out creates a new Lead Type = Company and the individual contact information is created as a child contact of the Company.

We are trying to find out what setting in forms triggers this structure? We're trying to use a ghost form from another software to create leads in NetSuite. However, when a new lead is entered it's coming in as Lead Type = Contact and not as a Company. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

There are two types of lead in NS, individual and company type. Only company type lead can have contact as child record. In order to create a lead record with a 'Company' type, you need to set the type field to 'Company'. in SuiteScript, you need to set the 'isperson' field to false.
