Hello all,
We have a custom item field that contains a date. We are trying to create a transaction search that will use this item field as one of the criteria. Problem is, while the custom field shows up as a possible results option it does not show up as a criteria option under Item Fields… The really weird things is another custom item date field we have that is set up just like the new one only with another name shows up in the list as a criteria option. This makes no sense to me. If they are exactly the same, why don;t they show up? I am at a loss to explain this and need this field to be part of the criteria.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is this in a sandbox?
I’ve been seeing some big delays recently with customizations propagating their CDN. We’ve had to wait as much as 30 minutes for something to show up.
One thing I haven’t tried is to log out and back in but I don’t think that will help.
Other than that I’m not sure why unless the field is not set to be stored on the record.

Hi David.
No this is production and has been a few hours now. I thought about a delay but I have never dealt with it being delayed this long. And the box to store the value is checked just like the other field. This just weird. In fact all three of the custom fields we just set up are not showing up. the one date field and 2 currency fields and they all appear to be set up correctly. I’m at a loss to explain it right now.

Not sure what to do. Do you have someone in another region that could test it?
I know NS is having issues with some database corruption on certain servers. Maybe open a case.

No we are all in the same region. I know we have had some issues with NetSuite this afternoon being up and down. Maybe I will see what happens tomorrow. Thanks David. Appreciate the help.

Hi karenn, There have been NetSuite connection / Database connection problems throughout the whole day. This could have caused the fields to be not set up correctly. As you said, you would have to try accessing the custom fields or creating the fields again tomorrow.
