HI there,

I'm a new to working with NetSuite and have what is hopefully an easy question. I'm trying to add a new custom field to Assembly and Inventory items with a default value. I set the default value for the field to 25 however when I go to edit an item the field is blank.

Any help is much appreciated!

Custom field defaults get applied when a record is created. For existing records, to set the field value, you might have to run a mass update, or set the value using a script, or via CSV import
