cgieselmanI created a custom transaction column field with a small script that copies the line item price level to the new column field and stores the value. This column is then set to display on item fulfillments. All of that works fine.
The problem I am having is I want to use this column from item fulfillments to report on COGS from those item fulfillments by price level. Unfortunately I can add the field to the report but it is always empty.
The field is type “List/Record” and the list is “Price Level” as I said it is set to store value.

mlucentalesHello cgieselman,
What type of report are you trying to customize? Can you please email me the steps on how you customized it? Is it from a standard report? What are the columns displayed on the report? The reason why I am asking these questions is because you mentioned that you want to use the column from item fulfillment to report on COGS. If you check the GL Impact of Item Fulfillment, it is empty so I need to know how you are trying to use the column on a COGS report.
Thanks,

cgieselmanRE: Custom column field on report
The report is derived from one of the stock reports named “Inventory Profitability”. The stock report has a column named “Total Cost” and when I add “Transaction Number” from the “Cost” folder of available fields it confirms the numbers are coming from Item Fulfillments.
From the stock report the customization that I’m doing is adding the transaction number to the far left column, then removing the “Total Revenue” column and the two formula fields on the right. I then add my custom field to the far right.
The report that is generated shows groupings of transactions with a list of items on the fulfillment, their description, the quantity per item and the total cost per item (verified by our accountant to match the GL impact of each line item). The only problem I am continuing to have is the blank custom field on the right.
