I’ve been trying to cancel my current CSV job for over 1hour and 30 minutes. there are 4 csv jobs after mine.

what’s wrong with netsuite? why am i not able to cancel my csv upload? it’s going to get pretty crazy soon when the queue keeps growing bigger and bigger.

every time i press ‘cancel’. nothing happens.

Have you tried contacting Support? Do you have a case number?

Support is reviewing your last update. This is most likely related to S1 Defect 385963 Import CSV Records > Unable to cancel import. No eta yet but once your case is attached to it, you’ll receive notification of the fix.

I experienced something similar last week. Is the defect perhaps not localized to one account but all of them?

Others have reported being unable to cancel import jobs. If you are affected by this, please contact Support and reference Defect 385963 to receive status updates.

I am purposely trying to delete one of the addresses to make my CSV fail. please end.

    NS Support’s Alternate Solution

I understand that urgency of this matter and the need to import other transactions or records. This has been reported to our engineers and they are currently working on a possible fix to prevent this from happening again.

Can you try this as an alternate solution for now?

Please note that I cannot guarantee that this will work on your end.

    1. Open a “new tab”

    2. Copy and paste this url:

    “https://system.netsuite.com/app/setup/upload/csv/csvcancel.nl?wqid=19956512&rdurl=%2Fapp%2Fsetup%2F upload%2Fcsv%2Fcsvstatus.nl”

    3. Press Enter

Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you for your patience.

here is an alternate solution that obviously didn’t work.

If the slowness of the import might be caused by scripts and/or workflows on the records you’re updating, you *could* try disabling that in Setup -> Import/Export -> CSV Import Preferences. Might be dangerous though, depending on what customizations you have running. This sounds like a nightmare, I don’t envy you.

good idea. i don’t think i have any workflow/script behind the scenes, but i’m willing to try anything that might speed it up a little bit.

i am updating customer address’s label. over 2500 of them for 1 customer. so nothing dangerous.

everyone is just waiting for my csv to finish… 11% in the last 24 hours. yikes.

Netsuite support hasn’t helped much. your advice is 100 times better than their url alternate solution.

thanks rnedelkow. that’s good to know.

Is there a way you can cancel my job in the backend? So I don’t have to wait 2 more days.

If not, I am still going to have to wait 2 more days. :_(

I can run other csv high priority asap. my lowest priority csv job is running right now. (it’s gonna take many days to finish)

CSV status for updating 1 customer’s addressbook. 53 hours later. 24% completed.

    unable to cancel.

EnablingSolutions replied on 04/18/2016, 07:38 AM: I had the same issue…it tied up the the import for 3 days
