    Hi all,

there have been a few historic posts about this but no replies to the ones I’ve found. And I’m getting no joy from the help files/netsuite tips/google and have wasted so much time

After smbxml removal I’m trying to csv import customer payments. All good except those that apply to an invoice.

I can match the invoice transaction id and payment amount. Each payment applies to the full invoice amount and there’s mostly only a single open invoice. I;ve tried with Line=0, =1, =Null, =transid:0and still get the same error

“Unable to find a matching line for sublist apply with key: [doc, line].”

Really not looking forward to creating 1500 of these from scratch.

Please please help!!! Thanks in advance.

And I’ve also tried with multiple files, and relabling ‘Amount’ to ‘Total’ so it doesn’t automatically map to the invoice amount and not the payment amount.

    Still no joy.

Resolved. you seem to have to use the NS internal id of the linked transaction/invoice etc in order to link records. it’s not enough to use the invoice number.

RE: CSV Imports (customer payments) sublist syntax

    Hey ODE,

I’m hitting a wall with this same error. What do I need to enter into each “Line” field for individual invoices?

From your responses it seems that I simply need to apply the internal invoice id as opposed to the invoice number. Is this the case?

Agreed that this has been really frustrating.

    Thanks for your help!
